Since we get to live here, it’s not that surprising to us, but it is still very exciting to be named the top ski resort by Condé Nast Traveler for the sixth time in the past seven years! What locals know is that Telluride has worked hard and managed to maintain its down-to-earth authenticity, but it’s nice to hear that visitors and editors recognize and love the same things that we do about this magical mountain town.

The Condé Nast Traveler article goes on to describe not just the chill vibe of Telluride, but its uncrowded and beautiful ski terrain, the abundance of unique and delicious eateries, and our wonderful lodging options.

Telluride has recently received a few other accolades. Forbes also named Telluride the number two ski resort in North America for 2019. Forbes uses a calculation of various factors including “snowfall, terrain, crowds and town ambience. These factors are baked into a master algorithm that yields, for 220 ski resorts on the continent, a Pure Awesomeness Factor, or PAF.” Forbes gave Telluride a PAF of 95.7, putting us in second place and highlighting that “scenery-wise, there is no North American ski town that competes.”
THE CONVENIENCE, CHARM AND RAW SKIING CREDENTIALS OF THIS PLACE MAKE IT UNIQUE IN NORTH AMERICA, AND A PLACE THAT SHOULD BE AT THE TOP OF ANY SKIER’S LIST.
