This property was perfect for a long weekend stay. The location was walkable to the lift and gondola as well as all the town restaurants and shopping. The unit had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We love Telluride and will keep this property on our list of favorites.

Our stay at the Viking Lodge was great. It is such a good spot to grab the gondola in the morning and ski right down to chair 7 in the pm back to the condo. Can pretty access everything in town without driving. Telluride lodging was great to work with. Excellent communication.

We ended up staying with Lodging in Telluride after our original accommodations fell through late the night we arrived. I messaged late at night hoping they would accept our reservation for check in the next day, and got a response early the next morning. They were very flexible in allowing us to check in early, and the condo was perfect, just like the photos listed. The location was fantastic, right off the walking trail along the San Miguel River. It wasn't right in the middle of town and we enjoyed walking along the river in the mornings to Cowboy Coffee or The Butcher & The Baker. They also provided wonderful documentation of check in and check out procedures, along with very helpful notes about things to do in the area which was great for our first visit. They also provided a couple of items in the kitchen and bathroom as "starter items" (olive oil, salt, pepper, toilet paper, dish soap etc.) so we didn't have to immediately run out to the store. Overall, it was lovely!

The view of the river was beautiful and the sound was so peaceful in the mornings and evenings with the windows open. This was located just a couple minutes walk from the grocery store and an easy walk into town where the shops/restaurants were located. The river walk is pretty and leads to some good hiking trails. I would definitely stay here again.

This is located right on the River trail. We walked it everyday. Flat, easy, and gorgeous! A short walk to the center of town. Everything was clearly communicated regarding our stay. Would highly recommend.

Very quaint but adorable place right on the edge of town. Very convenient location to restaurants and hikes, among many other things to do around town. Not good for more than one couple because of the bed situation, but would definitely stay here again.

We loved the condo! Highly recommend. Communication before and during was a cinch via text. Everything was ready to go upon on arrival including parking pass. The location is absolutely perfect for accessing the Main Street of Telluride. We could walk to City Market and awesome restaurants in a just minutes. We could hear and see the creek which was lovely. The trail is just steps out the door. A lot of affordable properties in Telluride are super worn out but not this one! It was clean and updated. We look forward to returning!

Loved our stay here. My boys loved being right on the river for fishing and getting around town via bike and foot on the river trail. Within walking distance to everything in town, and the gondola is a short 5 min walk. Wine store just across the street and the best grocery store in town just a couple blocks away on the main road into town. My son left his AirPods here and they graciously shipped them back to us…we were so appreciative!

Our family (2 adults and 3 children) stayed in this unit over the Christmas holiday and it met all of our expectations. The unit was clean, well equipped and a great location. Yes, it’s on the smaller side, but the layout is so brilliant, that we were able to make it work even with 3 older children. For the price, you can’t find a better value in Telluride.

Lovely condo with everything you would ever need (and more!). Comfy, large bed. Clean. Only issue was parking. They were paving their parking lot at the same time as construction on street and cars and colours festival, so parking was difficult to find, but all else was perfect

I really liked my lodge room. Only couldn't get the bedroom tv to work. The tv in the living room worked well and had the news stations I listen to. I'm not sure why the bedroom tv had a much more limited selection. I got good service when the smoke alarm device needed a new battery and began to chirp. Hope someone can use the wine that was complimentary. I just didn't get a chance and don't like to drink alone.

I'll start by saying the owners/property managers had amazing communication- and that is always a top priority when reviewing a place. We were there for the Telluride Yoga Festival, which is hosted at the high school, so the location couldn't be beat! That said, we had adults sleeping in bunks pretty much in the bathroom, so that was less than optimal. Great storage space, very clean and offered organic products...this would be perfect for families!

This is a lovely condo on the San Miguel River in the town of Telluride near everything! It is small but has a nice main bedroom with a bunk bed located in the hall between the bedroom/bathroom and kitchen/living room. The kitchen and living room are updated and are very nice with an excellent view of the mountain and river. Part of the bathroom has also been updated. The kitchen has everything that is needed and all is clean and tidy.

This was our first trip to Telluride. This condo has a great location, being just a few blocks west of the gondola. It has easy walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants in the town of Telluride. The condo sleeps 6 (2 in the master, 2 in the set of bunks, & 2 on the pullout sofa) but has only 1 bathroom, which is manageable if you split the shower times between evening/morning. Perhaps the only negative would be that the set of bunks is essentially located in the bathroom (bunks face the sink/lavatory/mirror with a door to close off the toilet/shower). So when someone needs to utilize the toilet in the middle of the night, they will disturb the people in the bunks by opening the bathroom door, flushing the toilet, washing their hands, etc. It was not that big of an issue but something that should be pointed out. I should also point out that the entrance into the condo is through the master bedroom, which wasn’t a problem but worth mentioning if you have an issue with people coming in/out through your bedroom. However, we spent most of our time on the mountain or in town and not sitting in our bedroom! :) The condo was very clean and well appointed with pots/pans, cooking utensils, silverware, coffee pot, blender, toaster, etc. We did not cook anything but could have if we chose to. The bedding was nice and there were plenty of extra pillows, sheets, and blankets. The master bed was very comfy. The view from the bay window was beautiful and faced the stream and mountain. Checking in was a breeze, as we just let ourselves in with the door code provided a week before our arrival. Our parking pass was waiting for us in the condo. We would definitely stay in condo 217 at The Viking Lodge again!

We loved this condo, and we found it wonderful for our family. It is close to everything, even to the gondola to get up to mountain village! The owner of this condo even has a guest book in which people have written in for years. The management was great in helping to make our stay a happy one!

Excellent stay for 3 nights in Telluride at a very reasonable price. Lovely condo with very well equipped kitchen perfect for a couple, and easy walk to Coonskin lift. Highly recommended.

My family (husband and 2 boys (ages 17 and 20) stayed over Spring Break for skiing. We couldn't have gotten better weather!!! Anyway, this condo was perfect! Close to the Coonskin lift, Gondola and the town of Telluride. I loved the window seat with the great view and though small, the condo had everything we needed and tons of storage space. It had all modern updates and was decorated so nicely. Mindy and Tom are easily accessible if you have a question or need something. This was our first trip to Telluride and we can't wait to return! We flew to Montrose and rented a car since it was cheaper than the shuttle. We stopped at Walmart in Montrose for kitchen supplies before the scenic drive (saw many elk and coyote) to Telluride which only took about 1 1/2 hours.

Excellent location -- so easy to get to the lifts and to town. I would recommend this property for other families.

My husband and I just returned from a fantastic trip to telluride! This unit was perfect! We ate breakfast every morning on the balcony. Slept every night with the door open and could hear the river. We parked our car when we got there and never moved it till we left. Loved being on this side of town and on the river. Great distance to the gondola, market and every thing else we needed. Quiet and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again- telluride was awesome!!!

We were absolutely delighted with unit 212. It was perfect for my husband and I. Everything is updated beautifully and the whole unit was immaculate. I don't think I have ever stayed in a rental home as well stocked as this one. They have truly thought of everything. There was even a sign in the door welcoming us when we arrived. The balcony of 212 overlooks the San Miguel river and the mountains and I found listening to the river sounds very soothing. Wine store, Thai restaurant, and deli within steps of the condo. And the market was within walking distance too if you don't plan on buying too much to carry a couple of blocks. Since we went in summer, proximity to ski lift wasn't an issue, so I can't speak to that. There is really very little to complain about with this unit. If I had to say something it would be that the king-sized bed wasn't the most comfortable bed I have slept in, but it wasn't awful either. The people who helped me with my reservation could not have been more pleasant and accommodating. I believe at least some of them live on site.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Love the balcony to sit out and play cards, people watch and the ability to sleep with the door open and hear the river. The sleeper sofa is not the most comfortable for watching TV. We walked everywhere, never used the Galloping Goose. The property management company was never seen, as they were out of town. But it was great to arrive and just move right in. Awesome little town!

My husband and I just got back from five great days hiking and mountain biking in Telluride. The town is beautiful and the condo suited our needs perfectly. We made breakfast and lunch everyday and walked to dinner every night. It is true that you don't need a car--we rented one, but we should have taken a shuttle from Montrose airport as the car never left the parking space. All the hike/bike paths can be accessed from the condo, and the supermarket and downtown are only a few blocks away. Mindy and Tom are great property managers--they can tell you about any trails or interesting tidbits about Telluride. A great vacation!

This was a wonderful trip! The condo is everything that was advertised. We parked our car and did not use it again for a week, we walked everywhere we needed. We also appreciated all the subtle things for us in the condo like aluminum foil, hair dryer and cooking utensils. We enjoyed the balcony in back and the sound of the creek. There is no finer management company in Telluride. Their properties are top notch, the quality of service is unparalleled. We will only stay at properties managed by Lodging in Telluride. This particular unit is fully equipped with all needs for that perfect vacation. All the amenities you could possibly desire while on vacation. Anything from all the kitchen utensils necessary, to all the bathroom supplies including top quality products. The furniture and beds are always super comfortable. The condos are always perfectly cleaned with every attention to detail. The views are spectacular, patio setting over looking the ski runs and river cannot be beat! And even when a massive boulder knocks out the power to the whole town of Telluride. Lodging in Telluride, Tom, Mindy and Georgie, came by with candles and flashlights to ensure we were making the best of our stay. You can't beat that service! Love these guys!

We arrived here in Telluride to celebrate my husband's birthday, our anniversary and to explore the many hikes, restaurants, and activities Telluride has to offer. This condo totally exceeded our expectations! It is very clean, comfortable and has all the amenities we could have asked for. We absolutely love the view and listening to the sounds of the San Miguel river outside. Tom and Mindy are awesome property managers! They were always quick to respond to any questions that we had. They made us feel very welcome. We will be back soon....it was the perfect getaway....
