Coffee Cowboy allows customers to ‘pay it forward’ by purchasing a cup of coffee for someone in need. This neighborhood gem serves up a limited number of snack bars and pastries as far as food goes, but this coffee truck also offers refreshing and filling smoothies. Another Telluride institution, Baked in Telluride has been serving up pizza pies and sweet treats for over twenty years. While you can get made-to-order food, you can easily snag a hot grab-n-go breakfast from the case packed with burritos and hot bagel or croissant sandwiches. Stop in for breakfast, but don’t stop there. Baked also has a giant case of homemade breads, cookies, brownies and its beloved donuts. Locals know that 2 for 1 donuts are sold daily after 2 PM.

Rated one of the best brunch spots in Telluride, locals rave about the food and the blood orange mimosa, a Floradora exclusive. The old saloon setting provides a cool, historic vibe and it’s a great option for families as booth tables are covered in brown paper and crayons and the walls adorned with some impressive table-created art. Slept in after a long day on the mountain? You can get your fried avocado & bacon eggs benedict or breakfast poutine until 2:30 pm, Saturday and Sunday only!

La Cocina De Luz

While you order your breakfast at the counter, La Cocina is the kind of place you want to stay awhile. Whether you sit in the large outdoor patio garden or inside the local-art-adorned restaurant, your food will be delivered to your table with a smile. Daily breakfast specials can’t be beat, usually coming in around $10. You can also get yourself a fresh, organic juice like “Green Lemonade” (apple, kale, lemon) or “Roots” (carrot, beet, ginger).
